The Problem

A large professional services firm’s leadership
wanted to understand whether their
employees’ performance was being
assessed equitably across genders,
whether feedback was being given in a
timely manner, how utilization affected
performance, and whether employees
spent time on learning and took adequate
time off.

Our Recommendations

  • Regional instances of a talent data hub to merge demographic, performance, learning, client project, and time reporting data from multiple systems spread across a region
  • Performance, learning, and well-being KPIs calculated and exposed through regional instances of data marts, API and web app in the cloud
  • All data localized by geographic region (North America, Europe, etc.) to ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards
  • A global application and data product development competency for the talent data hub, and a regional deployment and maintenance model

The Results

  • Business and talent leaders in geographically aligned member firms able to consume talent data at granular and aggregate levels based on their needs
  • Firm leaders able to get a sense of direction to focus their efforts on, such as mentorship, well being and performance management
